Recently County Executive PJ Wendel sent a Letter to Business Owners requesting they develop a plan for safe reopening once COVID-19 restrictions are lifted. Gebbie CEO Greg Edwards encourages Jamestown businesses to develop a plan that incorporates safety measures for employees and visitors alike. He is working directly with Senator George Borrello and Mark Geise discussing what businesses could potentially open and what types of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), professional advising, techniques and funding might be required. CCIDA issued a Press Release regarding a grant program, funded in part by area foundations, to assist businesses in purchasing PPE and in obtaining guidance in a redesign of their work spaces to comply with CDC and OSHA COVID-19 safety requirements found here: https://www.osha.gov/Publications/OSHA3990.pdf
